i applied to join ADF.
went for the first interview already.. hopefully they'll call me back soon.
people ask me why. and i gave alot of answers...
my mum asked me why ADF? i told her..
i rmb when i was young. everytime i looked at soldiers. they made me feel safe. they make me feel happy, the soldiers always smiled back at me. everything's different when you're in the uniform, people look at you from a different angle, they believe what the soldier says, it becomes quite stressful sometimes, in public, you gotta maintain the image of a soldier... in the train or bus, give up the seat to the elderly, that's why i always stand even when there's a 1 or 2 seats infront of me, unless there's like ample seats.
when i walk arnd in uniform small kids will be like, "mummy mummy, look, a soldier."
so now, i guess it's my turn to be the soldier in the kids' hearts... everyone's doing their part.
somebody has to do it. so why not me?
